Team17 Prices ‘Frozen’ in the Steam Winter Sale

Worms Reloaded updated with classic weapons and new theme!

London, UK – Tuesday 20th December, 2011 – Team17 are pleased to announce that a spate of sale prices will be applied to many of their titles, in celebration of the holiday season. Valve’s digital distribution platform, Steam, will be running their annual Winter Holiday Sale from Monday 19th December, until Sunday 1st January 2012. All of Team17’s Steam PC titles, including Worms Reloaded, Worms Ultimate Mayhem, Worms Crazy Golf, the huge ‘Worms Complete Pack’ bundle, and the Alien Breed games will all have their prices reduced by 50%, for the duration of the Holiday Sale. Worms Reloaded Launch Event

August 29, 2010, 14:00, Bucharest, Romania Team17 together with a theGameCAST.net, JocShop.ro, Genius and Gigabyte have unleashed the worms once again, this time for the PC, in a classic 2D format. The launch event started with a small presentation, followed by the Worms Reloaded competition which lasted well into the evening. Coke and 100 pancakes kept us up and running. Worms Reloaded Romanian Launch Details

theGameCAST.net, JocShop.ro, GIGABYTE and Genius have set the Romanian launch event for Worms Reloaded on August 29th, 14:00, str. Arthur Verona, no.13 (follow the link for directions). 

Worms Reloaded is the latest installment in a series which sold in excess of 25 million copies, marking the Worms’ return to the PC, now in a 2D format.

Worms Reloaded features over 60 single-player missions (including new Warzone Campaign and Bodycount Mode), a fully featured landscape creator, 45+ plus weapons spanning the entire Worms series and a huge currency based customization system, all wrapped up in HD quality visuals.

If you happen to be in Bucharest for the weekend and if you love worms, then head downtown on Sunday afternoon. There is even a competition with PC hardware and games up for grabs. Registration for the competition is possible here.
